QUALITY INVENTORY AND SERVICES

As a media form, out-of-home has always provided outstanding value and the introduction of new formats and new technologies in the sector continually adds to our audience-targeting potential.

EYE has maintained its focus on ensuring we offer clients quality inventory in premium locations and within appealing environments for flyers, shoppers, drivers and students.

The rollout of new digital formats and lightboxes incorporating LED technology at Terminal 2 of Sydney Airport in Australia has been completed, and has received a highly positive response from advertisers and airport management alike.

At Manchester Airport in the UK, EYE has worked closely with the airport's commercial team to install 'ground-up' new inventory in prime locations to enhance the airport's newly refurbished Terminal 1, a £50 million overhaul which has taken place over the last two years.

Terminal 1 has been redesigned with passenger comfort and safety as the key priorities. Supported by a considerable investment from retailers in fitouts and new stores, the new-look Terminal 1 was unveiled in July this year. Results from EYE's recent Eye Tracking study suggest that the refurbishment has significantly enhanced the media environment, with levels of passenger engagement with advertising during their airport journey increasing by more than 30 per cent.

Following the launch of the world-class Terminal 3, the JetQuay executive aviation terminal and the Budget Terminal at Singapore Changi Airport, upgrading works are now well under way within Terminal 1, with an expected completion date in 2011 at an estimated cost of SG$500 million. The refurbishment of the interiors will provide improvements in services, facilities and passenger flow. EYE's Singapore team has worked with the airport and its design partners to develop exciting new locations and opportunities for advertising, which will be integrated as the terminal develops.
